Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words.” - Daniel 10:12

America is at a historic crossroads.

All manner of buzzwords and hashtags rule our headlines and media feeds. Make America Great Again. Black Lives Matter. Me Too. Marxist. Radicals. Revolution. Reconciliation. LIFE. Our cities are on fire, our masses are discontent, and our nation seems more divided than ever.

But we refuse to leave the last word to the zeitgeist of today. In the words of our spiritual father, Lou Engle:

“Underneath the rubbles of the riots I hear the rumblings of revival.”

We refuse to surrender our responsibility as citizens of this nation and of heaven to the status quo. Only a united church can heal a divided nation.

It is not the time to stand idly by. It is not the time to be a critic or a spectator in these moments in history. Our forefathers had a vision that this nation would be one governed of, by, and for the people. In this critical time, we are calling the people of God to take their place in fasting and prayer for 21 days leading up to the 2020 National Elections.

We the People can change history.

We are at a crucial juncture for our country. We believe that if we take our stand and make an appeal to heaven, instead of destruction and despair we will see revival and reformation in our nation.

Lou Engle Ministries and Contend will be hosting small, private prayer meetings during this period. We are accepting applications for groups that would like to join us for 21 days of corporate prayer in Colorado Springs. Please email hello@contend.global for more information.
